I'd love to read this book. As I'm typing this, my 3 year old is climbing over the baby gate into the kitchen (again) while his younger brother is cheering him on. This sounds like a refreshing read after a long day. Thanks for the sharing!

I put this at the top of my list of books to read after reading your review. It's something I've been thinking about a lot lately as I've wrestled with my own identity struggles as a Christian woman(and even my fear of having kids because I've seen so many friends and family lose their identities or be pushed aside after having children. I'm so relieved to hear it doesn't have to be this way!) I think this book is so needed. There are so many I want to share this book with, and as I prepare to be a counselor, I think it will be hugely helpful in understanding the struggles parents face. Thanks!

I think one of the main struggles moms/parents face is the constant judgment from other parents regarding your decisions. Sometimes it's difficult to feel grounded in my identity when I have everyone elses' opinions looming over my head.
