Bumper Sticker Affinity
2008 May 21
This made me laugh today.
Yes, I am one of those people. I enjoy bumper stickers. If I see a car with bumper stickers, I try to get behind it so I can read them. I could care less about resell value, I'd rather my car have a personality. So, the back of our car is covered. I know some people don't think opinions should ever be expressed, but I'm obviously not one of those people.
But I still though the post was funny.

yeah…I used to have a yellow magnetic ribbon and I refused to remove it every time we drove over to PDX. At least my car wasn't defaced. I used to plaster my car with bumper stickers when i was in college because I felt it was really really important that the driver behind me know what I think politically, what my hobbies were, which bands i liked, what cool radio stations I listened to etc etc etc. The only ones I get now are ones I find amusing ("Cat, the other white meat"…I love cats but its still funny) I don't like to clutter up the back of my big ole gas hogging SUV anyway.
for those who may be of a little different persuasion, one of my original shirts on my site (http://www.headscratching.com/) features a bumper sticker:
"proudly demonstrating moral superiority through bumper stickers"
sean
we live in Portland BTW, so that gives you a little more perspective on the shirt…
Funny bumper sticker link, thanks for the laugh.
