I have the picture in a set of images of Christ from around the world. It is of a sculpture in (I think) Brazil. That's all I know about it.

This image is deeply disturbing.

Exactly the sort of image that Christians need to see. We need to be reminded that the cross was ultimately a source of gruesome death.
