Sushi vs. Steak
2007 November 9
This amused me -
Is there a correlation between the type of food we eat and how we vote? In comparing the number of sushi versus steak restaurants in a city with how that city voted in the 2004 election the answer is apparently so. As the post points out, “the more sushi, the more liberal. Somehow this feels intuitively obvious. You’d expect more red meat in red states.” And the new trend in sushi/steak restaurants must be the result of the increase of the purple vote. Or something like that.

I love them both pretty equally, but then I have a tendency to be a ‘centrist,’ so I guess it still correlates.
Like Kay, I love them both. Depends on mood.
However, I really like my steak to be rare (or even raw, ala steak tartare), so perhaps this is indicative of something.
I don’t know how my food correlates to my politics, but while I like steak, I am not always in line with the conservatives. But as far as sushi goes, I just don’t like bait. I just can’t eat bait.
